Curling irons are also know as curling tongs. They are used to curl hair. There are many different sizes of curling irons. There are also different types of curls. Some examples are:

Long looping curls
classic coil curls
big round curls
s shaped curls

There are two people who invented the curling iron. Marcel Grateau in 1890 and Sir Hiram Maxim in 1866.

There are many different brands of curling iron. Also besides a curling iron there is a curling wand.
