place where the small and large intestines meet. You will die if your appendix
ruptures. Appendix is only about 3 or 4 inches long. The appendix plays the
role in fighting lymphoid cells. It fights in the immune system. The appendix
is a finger shaped pouch. If your appendix swells up its called appendicitis.

Why Do Onions Make You Cry?
by: Tyson Anastasia and Jorja
When you cut an onion, you break
cells releasing their contents.
The gas that is formed reacts with
water in your tears to form sulfuric acid.
The sulfuric acid burns making your
eyes release more tears to wash the irritant away.
Cutting an onion under water washes
away the sulfuric acid allow you to be tear free.

When a plane takes off the wings cut the airflow in
half. Some air travels above the wings and some air travels on the bottom. This

Why Do We Need Water To Live?
Mathew H Moody Harper Cody
We need water so that our blood can carry nutrients
easier. We need water to stay healthy. Our bodies need 1-7 cups or mL of water.
If you don’t drink enough water you will get dehydrated. When you are
dehydrated it causes headaches, kidney damage and health problem. After three
days without water you will suffer but you can survive 3 weeks. Tap water milk
and fruit juice are the healthiest. It is better to drink purified water than
lake water. Some brands of bottled water are bad for you. You can’t drink plain
lake water because it could be polluted.
